Hello, I am Cecilia Cruz Sandoval, Mexican photographer based in Puebla and I do Documentary and Editorial Photography along teaching photography at university level and online programs. 

I run my own studio where I create portraits, product, editorial and stock photography for different purposes. My philosophy in Photography is to create images with a concept to address an issue,  show emotions,  or create an aesthetic for a client or personal work. Photography is a balance between what I like and what the client requieres from me. 

In 2019 I concluded the MFA in Photography at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. The thesis project "The Ineffable Every Day Life" gave me the chace to explore the documentary side of photography that I didn't know I like so much. And the chance to expose one of the pieces this past December 2021 at the Museo Regional de Antropología in Villahermosa, Tabasco. The exposition was created and cured by the photographer Gulnara Samoilova creator of the collective "Women Street Photographers".

Hola, soy Cecilia Cruz Sandoval, fotógrafa mexicana situada en Puebla y me dedico a la Fotografía Documental y Editorial además de enseñar fotografía a nivel universitario y en programas en línea.

En mi estudio atiendo a los clientes y hago trabajos personales, me especializo en la fotografía de retratos, producto y editorial con distintos propósitos. Mi filosofía en la Fotografía es crear imágenes que tengan un concepto que ayude a la narrativa de un tema, muestre emociones, o tengan una estética tanto en mi trabajo personal o para un cliente. 

En el 2019 obtuve mi título de (Maestría en Bellas Artes)  MFA en Fotografía por la Academy of Art University en San Francisco, Estados Unidos. El proyecto de tesis "La Inefable Vida Cotidiana" me dio la oportunidad de explorar la fotografía Documental y encontrar algo nuevo que no sabía me gustaría tanto. De este proyecto expuse una pieza en el Museo Regional de Antropología en Villahermosa, Tabasco como parte de la Exposición del colectivo "Women Street Photographers" creado por la fotógrafa y curadora Gulnara Samoilova.
